China SMI – Advance Indicators of What is Really
Happening in China every Month

World Economics

The China Sales Managers Index provides data on the speed and direction of economic activity in China three days before any other economic indicator, every month.

The China Sales Indexes are regularly carried in financial databases such as the Wall Street Journals "Daily Shot", and Bloomberg. For example the WSJ recently pointed out that our SMI data was first with the market moving news that the Chinese growth rate recovered in March. Subscribers always get our data first, enabling trades to be made before the news becomes widely available.

Be first to understand what's happening in the world's largest economy, by subscribing to the Sales Managers Index.

Key advantages of the SMI's:

  • The SMI's provide the first indication each month of the speed and direction of economic growth.
  • The SMI's provide the most complete indication of growth, covering all private sector activity.
  • The SMI's are based on a key occupational group - sales executives - uniquely able to sense accurate changes in business activity levels.
  • The SMI survey base - salespeople - are used by virtually all businesses, including in frontier markets, unlike other occupational groups.
  • The SMI's focus on the worlds key growth areas – China, India and United States
