China’s Governance Rating Returns to 2016 Levels


 
China has returned to approximately the same Governance levels it recorded a decade ago, following a brief improvement in its rating on the World Economics Governance Index.

Index: 0-100. 0=Poor, 100=As good as it gets

This rating determines the overall grading of countries. Consequently, China remains in the E-grade category – the lowest tier for Governance - alongside the likes of Russia and Belarus.
