Population of 65+ Year Olds

NUMBER OF PERSONS

The total number of individuals aged 65 and older who are classified as economically inactive (i.e., neither employed nor actively seeking employment). This metric primarily captures retirees but also includes others in this age group who are outside the labor force. Projections are based on the United Nations' low-fertility variant and include both males and females.
