Most Developed Countries have Experienced Falling Fertility Rates for Many Years


 
Many developed countries (and others) have experienced falling fertility rates recently for up to 24 consecutive years. This is likely to lead to depopulation, falling consumer markets, falling tax revenues, and increasing indebtedness.

Many countries are already experiencing shrinking population numbers as a result of falling fertility levels. The EU, for example, is projected to see its workforce shrink by some 37 million people by 2050.
