World Economics has reassessed Nepal's GDP by adjusting for any base year age and size of the informal economy to estimate GDP PPP at $187 billion - 65% larger than offical estimates. The population of Nepal is estimated to be 29.7 million which gives a GDP per capita PPP of $6,307. This places Nepal in 132nd place in the World Economics Global Wealth rankings and 27th for Asia-Pacific.
