GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT PER CAPITA (REAL PPP IN 2017 PRICES)


GDP per capita (PPP based) is gross domestic product converted to international dollars using purchasing power parity rates and divided by total population.

World Economics has reassessed Portugal's GDP by adjusting for any base year age and size of the informal economy to estimate GDP PPP at $459 billion - 20% larger than offical estimates. The population of Portugal is estimated to be 10.2 million which gives a GDP per capita PPP of $44,760.
