Almost Three-Quarters of Humanity Now Lives in Countries With Fertility Rates Below Replacement Levels


 
Fertility rates in some countries have already fallen below 1.00%, a level far below the replacement rate, which will produce rapid depopulation over time. There are few signs that this trend will be reversed as of today.
