Egypt Downgraded to E-grade on the World Economics Governance Index


 
Egypt’s World Economics Governance Index rating has declined over the last decade. These ratings are linked to the grading of countries. Consequently, Egypt was downgraded to E-grade (the lowest category possible) in 2020.

Egypt now sits among the likes of Vietnam and China at the bottom end of the Index. This reveals an alarming situation for any investor interested in the country.
