Asia's Remarkable 70% Share of GDP Growth

Asia's share of Global GDP growth over the past decade has been startling, at 70.0% of the total, compared with 6.2% for Africa, 9.2% for Europe and 14.6% for the Americas.

World Economics calculates GDP using World Bank data as a base, in Purchasing Power Parity terms, and adds estimates for the Informal Economy, and for countries using outdated Base Years. Read more...
